Dior wanted to do something that was never done before in their stores and showcase the collaboration and synergies that existed between both digital and print communications.
To go along with the launch of backlit prints that were produced for Dior, ICON created an OLED screen and a hologram unit that were installed at The Bay Queen and The Bay Montreal respectively. The OLED screen at The Bay Queen was especially unique as it was one of the first times that this technology was used in public. The OLED screen featured a transparent screen with a bottle of Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming and flower petals falling all around it. At The Bay Montreal, a real bottle of the fragrance was placed inside our hologram unit where projections were then placed inside the bottle to make it seem as though there were actual petals floating within the perfume. The projection units were finally wrapped in vinyl following the branding guidelines of Dior to help compliment the digital aspect with print.
