On April 27th, 2023, ICON Digital hosted its 5th Annual charity dinner in support of the Geneva Centre for Autism, raising funds to support their critical work in providing services and resources to individuals and families with autism. Along with hosting and planning this event, ICON’s team was involved in the production and execution of all creative elements including menus & programs, fabric bannerstands, sponsorship signage, cheque signage, and an LED videowall installation.
Throughout the evening, various speakers discussed the importance of resilience and shared personal stories, highlighting the significance of GCA’s work in providing support, resources, and the positive impact that GCA has had on themselves and their families.
“Resilient communities are neurodiverse, your support tonight will help us ensure that as we begin to rebuild the autism community that it be included as an integral part of that process,” said Abe Evreniadis, Chief Executive Officer of the Geneva Centre for Autism. “Thank you for being here and all your generous support”.
The event was a huge success with prominent figures in the community including business leaders, politicians, philanthropists, and advocates for autism awareness in attendance. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal and had the opportunity to bid on a variety of unique items in a raffle, with all proceeds going directly to the Centre. As a special treat, guests were also able to enjoy a beautiful performance by singer Roberto Tanco and a hilarious stand-up by Michael McCreary.
Together, we were able to raise over $50,000 with all proceeds going to the Geneva Centre for Autism to continue to serve families in Toronto by providing clinical programs and services to individuals with ASD. Through their work, the Centre strives to promote understanding and acceptance of autism in the community and ensure that individuals with autism have access to the resources and support they need to reach their full potential.
Thank you for everything that made the evening so special, and ICON can’t wait to do this again in 2024!
