ICON teamed up with XMC to design a pop-up space in Toronto for popular Japanese retailer, Uniqlo. The space was designed with the intent to drive new user acquisition for their mobile app. ICON Media and Visual used digital kiosks along with large format wall and floor graphics to simulate the app’s interface in-store creating an aesthetic photo op for social media.
During its launch, Uniqlo’s pop-up space was filled with brand ambassadors and social media influencers helping increase engagement in-store and online. Over 50,000 product giveaways took place with the app gaining over 27,000 new registrants.
