Cadillac is looking to change the way you shop for cars online. Cadillac Live is a new service launched exclusively in Canada that bridges the gap between e-commerce and traditional brick & mortar showrooms.
ICON partnered with Cadillac and digital agency, Isobar, to design a space that transports a Cadillac showroom into the comfort of your home. Through pre-recorded tours or by a booking a live-stream video appointment, viewers will be able to tour the model of their choice and have a live one-on-one discussion with a customer service representative. These customer representatives can then help direct the viewer to their closest dealership where the final purchase can be made.
ICON Media designed the space to serve as a giant softbox and sourced out ICON Visual to help with the overall production. ICON Visual was tasked with supplying massive white curtains installed around the showroom to properly reflect light presenting the cars in the best way possible.
The concept has been a major success to date and is just one of many ways that ICON is working with brands to leverage technology in their everyday operations.
