ICON partnered with the Greater Toronto Airport Authority and CIBC in April 2017 to create brand new graphics celebrating Canada’s 150th Birthday! These graphics were to be installed on the exterior windows of the Departure Hall of Toronto Pearson International Airport’s Terminal 1. In preparation for this project, our team of brand consultants had to determine the proper solution for the space which would allow spectators to see the image from the outside of the building while letting in natural sunlight for those inside the Departures Hall. The team at ICON Visual opted to use a perforated material for these graphics which worked perfectly!

One of the main challenges that we had to overcome heading into the installation phase of this project was the weather and the lengthy installation timeline.  Thanks to our team of project coordinators, we were able to keep over 300 panels of print organized for our installers allowing us to finish a 2 week installation within in 5 days! Everyone involved from CIBC and the Greater Toronto Airport Authority was very impressed with ICON’s quality of work and timeliness with this project and we are definitely looking forward to working with all parties again!
