The Brooklyn Nets made one of the biggest splashes in NBA free agency during the 2019 off-season signing superstars Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Deandre Jordan. To help build buzz and get the borough of Brooklyn excited for the 2019/2020 NBA season and a potential title run, the Brooklyn Nets ownership group looked to redesign Barclays Center with all-new branding featuring their new stars.Thanks to ICON’s extensive partnership with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment for the past 20 years and the recent work done for the New York Islanders, the Brooklyn Nets awarded ICON with the contract to design and install graphics throughout Barclays Center for the 2019/2020 NBA Season. ICON used vinyl murals, backlit graphics, fabric frames, and foamcore prints to create a home-court advantage unlike any other inside one of North America’s most innovative sports arenas.
