For over 20 years, ICON Visual has partnered with Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment to produce branding throughout Scotiabank Arena, and this year is no different. The Toronto Raptors and Toronto Maple Leafs represent a large piece of Toronto culture and continuously bring a community of fans together. For the past two decades leading up to the Toronto Raptors’ 2019 NBA Championship, the city has experienced a boom in sports fandom amongst people of all demographics. At ICON Visual, our goal with this partnership is to create an environment that echoes the excitement of fans and showcase both the legacy of the NHL’s most valuable franchise the Maple Leafs and one of the best marketing campaigns in sports through the Raptors’ “We The North” slogan. This year, we were tasked with refreshing large format print graphics in preparation for the upcoming NBA and NHL seasons. Graphics included vinyl wall murals, banners, and flags both inside and around Scotiabank Arena. Another area of focus was the players' hallways and parking, where ICON Visual created and installed sponsored wall murals to help players lock-in and get focused the moment they enter the building as MLSE looks to create a culture around winning. As the official print partner of the Toronto Raptors, ICON looks forward to our ongoing partnership with Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment and to continue developing new ways to transform Scotiabank Arena.
